A warship has been involved in an operation to rescue a 65-year-old diver off the coast of south Devon.
The man got into difficulties near Salcombe after making a "rapid ascent" from a depth of 60m (197ft).
HMS St Albans responded to a Mayday call made at about 1315 GMT by the man's diving vessel, Brixham Coastguard said.
The diver was airlifted to hospital in Dorchester, Dorset, for decompression treatment.
HMS St Albans is a type 23 frigate based in Portsmouth.
