Strauss demands England reaction

England captain Andrew Strauss demanded a marked improvement from his team following their unconvincing six-wicket World Cup win over the Netherlands.
Strauss was particularly critical of England's performance in the field, after they scraped a victory in their first match with eight balls to spare.
"We got a lot of things wrong with our bowling," Strauss said.
"We need to improve. The first 50 overs was a very poor performance and the last 10 was extremely poor."
All-rounder Ryan ten Doeschate smashed 119 from 110 balls as the Dutch took advantage of some poor England bowling and abject fielding to post 292-6.
Andrew Strauss (88) and Jonathan Trott (62) gave England a solid start but, after runs dried up in the middle overs, they eventually limped over the finish line with Paul Collingwood and Ravi Bopara scoring well.
