An elderly woman has died after being hit by her husband's car as he reversed at a golf club, Strathclyde Police have said.
The 82-year-old died in the incident at about 1320 BST at Whitecraigs Golf Club, Ayr Road in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire.
She had got out of the car to help her husband with a manoeuvre when she was hit by the vehicle.
Her husband, who is also 82, is being treated for shock in hospital.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
