Brendan Rodgers insists Swansea City's total football approach is best-suited to a Premier League promotion battle.
Swansea City's 3-0 demolition of rivals Leeds United on Saturday, their fourth successive victory, was a statement of intent by Rodgers' promotion chasers.
And Rodgers is sure his second-placed Swansea's "possession with penetration" mantra is best when the pressure comes on for a place back in the top-flight.
"It always suits football teams coming into this part of the season," he said.
Swansea earned huge plaudits with the dominance and style of their 3-0 triumph over play-off chasing Leeds at The Liberty Stadium.
Scott Sinclair scored twice, taking his season's tally to 21 goals in all competitions, and Luke Moore converted the other as Swansea maintained the pressure on Championship leaders Queens Park Rangers who still lead the pack by five points.
Swansea's free-flowing football was, at times, sublime against Leeds and their finishing clinical as Rodgers' emphatically laid down a performance marker for their promotion push.
