Irish police are questioning a man in connection with the discovery of an explosive device in County Kildare just hours before the Queen's first visit to the Republic of Ireland.
It was found on a Dublin-bound bus outside the Glen Royal Hotel in Maynooth on Monday evening.
The man, who is in his 60s, was arrested in Longford on Friday.
The device was later made safe by an Irish army bomb disposal team.
