Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murdering Angelika Dries-Jenkins in Pembrokeshire.

Ms Dries-Jenkins 66, was found dead at her home in Providence Hill, Narberth, on Friday.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed they had arrested a 54-year-old local man on Tuesday.

He remains in police custody while inquiries into the murder, which shocked the community of Narberth, continue.

Earlier on Tuesday a post-mortem examination confirmed Ms Dries-Jenkins died from "substantial" head injuries.

Police said she could have been killed any time last week.

They have not confirmed what the murder weapon was but asked for help to catch her killer.

They also want to know how her Skoda Fabia car ended up in Haverfordwest.
