When we first met Marilyn one of the guys described her as the 'Girl Next Door' type. I've never been totally sure what that means in terms of a woman's looks but here goes: I suppose it implies someone who is a little understated, not drop dead gorgeous but attainable. I could imagine Marilyn as the boss's secretary, taking notes, manning the phones, crossing and uncrossing those nylon clad legs. Getting all the red blooded males in the office chomping at the bit...but then remaining tantalisingly out of reach (probably because she's knocking off the boss already).
